Gradual increment of the foreign visitors to visit Moe Yun Gyi Inn Wildlife Sanctuary

It is evident that more and more of foreign visitors come to Moe Yun Gyi Inn Wildlife Sanctuary located on Yangon-Mandalay highway road off of Pyin Pone Gyi village in Bago especially during the beginning of the winter season.
It is known that the observing the migrating birds during their hibernation is one of the main attractions to the visitors.

There are number of hotels for domestic and foreign tourists in Moe Yun Gyi Inn Wildlife Sanctuary.

There are speedboats for sightseeing around the lake.
The biodiversities of the lake are found in 74 species of aquatic plants, 41 species of fishes and the total number of 133 species of birds; 24 species of indigenous water birds, 23 species of hibernating birds belonging to water birds families, 53 species of indigenous birds and 33 species of hibernating birds belonging to terrestrial birds.
It is 40 sq miles in size and regulated to be wildlife sanctuary since April 22, 1988.
