Breakfast in Myanmar

The fried rice is one of the typical breakfast the people in Myanmar. It is cooked with whatever the leftover from the night before or adding eggs or pork sausages depending on the household. Even though this recipe is cooked with inexpensive ingredients it makes tasty and nutritious breakfast for many families.

One other popular breakfast is mohinga, the rice vermicelli in peppery fish broth. However it must be mentioned that the custom has started to change that more and more people from towns and cities across the country choosing to have their breakfast eating out instead of eating at home.
